The student will be integrally involved in making the PLC interact with the robot and other equipment of the work cell to perform useful automated tasks typical of what would be found in industry.

The course is composed of two theory hours and three lab hours per week. The student will be expected to contribute at least another five hours per week of reading, research, programming practice and supervised practical testing.
