FAHP 1100

This course is a study of the structure and function of the human body. Topics include: introduction to the human body, chemical aspects of life, cells, tissues and membranes, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, senses, endocrine system, circulatory system, lymphatic system, respiratory system, and urinary system. There is additional emphasis on the body systems (skeletal and muscular systems) that relate to the fitness and health industry. A field trip to the Queen’s University Anatomy Lab is included in this course.
