A Civil Engineering Technologist frequently encounters or is required to produce information in a graphical or photographical format. The course outlines the concepts and techniques required to recognize, produce, obtain, and utilize information from a variety of graphically and photographically related sources. Material that is covered includes: orthogonal, isometric and oblique projections drawings; site plans; engineering and construction drawings; scales; industry symbols and conventions.  The skill of "Drafting" has traditionally been core to the Civil Technologist.  In this course Computer Assisted Design and Drafting principles are introduced.
