Students will discuss, analyze and document their teaching practice experience.  Topics of discussion will include observations; planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting the children’s learning; guidance, observation and assessment of behaviour; health, safety and nutrition; interacting with staff and families; and, professionalism in the field.   Students will develop an ongoing professional development plan as they enter into the field.  The capstone assignment is an articulation of a personal philosophy, taking into account their learning from teaching practice, theoretical courses in the program, and the College of Early Childhood Educators Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. This course is considered an extension of CASE 12, and as such is to be taken concurrently.
