BIOL 350

This is a lecture-laboratory integrated course that will focus on alternative PCR (polymerase chain reaction) processes, RNA isolation and purification, molecular cloning, bioinformatic tools, expression of proteins in vivo and in vitro, mutation analysis and diagnostics. Throughout the course the emphasis will be on the practical aspects fundamental to genetic engineering and recombinant DNA technologies.
