Thank you for your interest in the 1000 Islands Summer School of the Arts! 2017 marked our 50th summer of providing quality arts programming in the heart of the world famous 1000 Islands and Eastern Ontario. Thank you to all our wonderful instructors and participants who made our 50th anniversary a success!

Our team is now developing our 2018 schedule. With ever-expanding course options ranging from traditional to contemporary painting techniques, music, dance, pottery, to culinary arts and more, there will truly be something for everyone.

Want to be a SSOA instructor?

The 1000 Islands Summer School of the Arts is seeking dynamic course proposals for next summer!  Visual artists, writers, dancers, musicians and culinary artists are encouraged to submit 2-5 day course proposals in all areas of the expressive and creative arts. These may include (but are not limited to) courses in sculpture, drawing, painting, writing, story-telling, drum building, introductory dance, cooking, baking, textiles, framing, etc. Course proposals may be for any of our campuses (Kingston, Brockville, Cornwall). Seniors' Fees

The discount for seniors taking Summer School of the Arts credit courses is 15% of the base tuition fee. Call us to register and apply the seniors' discount.
