Self Employment Assistance Program

Free… to Employment Insurance recipients who qualify!

Employment Ontario will help you return to the workforce by providing financial assistance and training support to help you develop and open your own business. You may qualify if you are currently receiving employment insurance benefits or have received employment insurance benefits in the last three years or have received maternity/parental benefits in the last five years.

The Self Employment Assistance program includes 8 weeks of in-school training followed by 32 weeks of business coaching as you put into action your newlyacquired knowledge in

• Market Research
• Advertising and Promotion
• Business Plan Development
• Small Business Bookkeeping
• Best Practices in Small Business
• Computers in Small Business.
