Rug Hooking
Explore the idea of adapting stained glass to our craft of rug hooking. The techniques and tricks of using mottled wool will be taught so that the students will produce textile pieces to mimic the illusion of real glass. Designing, colour planning, and finishing will be discussed with two dye demonstrations. The instruction this week will allow the students to develop their individual Stained Glass Rug Hooking projects from start to finish. A basic knowledge of rug hooking is necessary. Materials may be purchased from the instructor.
