The Bookkeeping Certificate Program is designed for individuals currently employed as bookkeepers or accounting clerks who possess little or no formal training or those individuals who are seeking re-training or a career change in as short a time as possible. The program is also geared towards recent graduates of post-secondary institutions who aim to supplement their existing academic qualifications with a more marketable, “hands-on” credential.
The program offers students the opportunity to obtain a thorough understanding of bookkeeping techniques and practices and how they are applied in both manual and computerized environments. Emphasis will be placed on the development of bookkeeping skills through the use of practical, “hands-on” training techniques.

- The demand for this educational format has increased to the point that we recommend you register before the “Class Start” date to ensure your acceptance into the course.

We suggest if you are driving from out of town to the bookstore to call ahead to make sure we have it in stock 613-345-0660 ext 3215 or 3216 or you can e-mail us at bbookstore@sl.on.ca. Please include your course code.
