Human Resources

Program Code 0251

As of January 1, 2011, applicants to the CHRP designation must have a university degree. Individuals without a university degree must complete the academic requirements by FALL 2010 in order to write the National Knowledge Exam prior to January 1, 2011.

This program is designed for frontline supervisors and human resources office staff or those aspiring to these positions. The college has worked closely with the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario (HRPAO) in the development of the Human Resources program. The HRPAO will grant credits towards the academic requirements of the professional designation of Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) for completed college courses when the student has achieved a 70% standing. The student is eligible to write the Comprehensive Provincial Exam (C.P.E.) to complete the educational component of the HRPAO professional legislated designation of CHRP.
