Program Code 0568

The Teacher of Adults certificate program expands opportunities for individuals involved in all areas of teaching or training, including the development and delivery of training programs for business, industry, health agencies and institutions. Program content serves to enhance your ability to design, deliver and evaluate both courses and training programs.

The program is meaningful to those who have acquired knowledge and skill in their specialty and are ready to share this experience with others. By way of the Teacher of Adults certificate program, you will develop the necessary teaching competencies to facilitate the learning of your adult students.

Required Courses :

  • TEAD 1 Teaching Adults
  • TEAD 3 Instructional Delivery
  • TEAD 4 Group Dynamics and Problem Solving
  • TEAD 5 Professional Role and Development
  • TEAD 37 Course Design and Evaluation
  • TEAD 6 Practicum and Practicum Seminar

Electives :

Students are to select one 45 hour credit course in supervision, counselling, training and development, sociology or psychology, or any combination of elective courses totalling 45 hrs from:
