2015-04-08, 12:27 PM

St. Lawrence College’s Music Theatre –Performance program is pleased to present Now & Forever…a diva spectacular this Thursday, April 9th and Friday April 10th at the Brockville Memorial Civic Centre. The show features cast of fifteen female singers and an eight piece band; it will take you on a journey through powerhouse tunes that will have you dancing in the aisles!
"Now and Forever” is an all-female Pop/Rock review celebrating some of the best female artists and groups of all time. The music in “Now and Forever” spans seven decades covering smash hits from some of world’s greatest writers and vocalists. This show is filled with tunes that topped the charts, given a fresh new spin with original arrangements by Craig Fair, created especially for this brand new production. We will bring you songs that you recognize from today and songs that will take you back to a very special time in your life! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you might just find that you just have to get up and dance!

“What a ride this show has been! As a third year student, this final year at St. Lawrence College has been about preparing for post-graduation life,” exclaimed Laura Del Papa. “Craig Fair brought a whole new angle to how I approach my material, be it songs or spoken text. He has given us all the opportunity to work on music that we grew up with, and he has skillfully directed us to create a truly thrilling show. As a performer and as a person, this show has made me so much more confident. Now and Forever is the fruit of our love for music and for performing, and we look forward to sharing this experience with audiences!

Echoing high praise for the new show experience, Isabelle Summers said, “I am so happy to be in Now & Forever. I never thought I would have the chance to be in a pop rock revue of this caliber or perform in a medley of some of my favourite songs with a live band! I am so proud of all of the women in this cast and sharing this experience with them had been absolutely incredible.”

There are two performances at the Brockville Memorial Civic Centre.
