2013-10-25, 2:41 PM

BROCKVILLE – The Puddle Jump Players, a touring young company of students in St. Lawrence College’s Music Theatre – Performance program, are proud to present The Munschables, a collection of musical vignettes based on the works of beloved children’s author Robert Munsch.

There will be two public performances of The Munschables at 12:00pm on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27 in the Brockville Collegiate Institute (BCI) auditorium. The show features vibrant musical adaptations of ten Robert Munsch classics, including The Paper Bag Princess, Mortimer, Love You Forever, and Thomas’ Snowsuit.

The Puddle Jump Players touring company is the result of a student project in the Music Theatre – Performance program. Under the supervision and guidance of faculty and industry professionals, the graduating students have conceived, created and developed this original musical show designed to bring the magic of theatre to young audiences in Eastern Ontario. During October 21-25, the Puddle Jump Players performed The Munschables for children in several elementary schools.

The Munschables was adapted by Phoenix Davilla, Brian Frommer, Abbey Girard, and Maddie Narod, with Music and Lyrics by Chrissie Baxter, Courteny Green, Julija Krisciunas, Jessica Pearson, Gabe Vaillant, and Ayla Zimmerly.

Ticket prices for the October 26 and 27 public performances of The Munschables are $10 for adults and $5 for children. A special Family Four Pack rate of $20 is available. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at or at the doors of the BCI auditorium before show time.
