Toyota Donates Two Cars to Automotive Program


Toyota Canada presented two cars to St. Lawrence College for use in the Automotive Program at the Cornwall Campus. "We are very happy to provide the students of SLC with these cars to help in the training of their students," said Harry Thompson, Area Parts & Service Manager , Central Zone, Toyota Canada Inc. Accepting the keys to the car is Bob Melrose, Coordinator of Trades at the Cornwall Campus of St. Lawrence College. "It's because of companies like Toyota that we can provide the most up-to-date technologies in our shops," explained Melrose. "We're delighted with the partnership we have formed with Cornwall Toyota." The Rav 4 and the Yaris are two of eight cars donated by Toyota Canada to schools in the last quarter.
