Known Issues and Fixes for slc.me

Issue #1: You get a blank page when attempting to access slc.me

Fix:  Click (or type) the following link:   http://slc.me?

Alternate Fix:  Clear your cache by going to the following link and selecting the appropriate browser for instructions.  NOTE:  Please select cache, temporary files, cookies and history if these options are presented.

Note:  This issue is being investigated by our software vendor.  You may be required to clear your cache regularly until the issue is resolved.

Issue #2: Email attachments do not work using the “attachment” button

Work-around:  Please “drag and drop” your attachments into the body of the email

Issues #3: When you log into slc.me you sometimes get directed to the Office365 login page

Fix: Close this tab and try logging in again

Issue #4: You receive the following message when trying to log into slc.me

Work-around:  Close your browser and re-open, then log in again.

Issue #5:   You are unable to access EBSCO databases through LibGuides (Library Guides)

This issue has been fixed.  Please try the links again and contact IT Service Desk if you have issues.

Issue #6: Using Blackboard through slc.me
Cannot use the “Insert Image” icon in the content editor to insert images into wikis. 

Workaround in IE 11 and Firefox:  Use snipping tool to copy the image or select and copy image in word and paste into wiki page using CNTL-V.  There is no way to insert an image from a file.  No workaround in Chrome at this time.
