The Hardship Bursary application is available the month after classes begin each semester, until 3 weeks prior to the end of the semester.

The Hardship Bursary application can be accessed on under the Finances tab.

St. Lawrence College is able to offer assistance in the form of non-repayable financial need bursaries. The intention of this bursary is to assist students who are experiencing financial hardships during their school year. Persons currently registered as students in post-secondary studies at SLC may apply for bursary assistance. Students are expected to apply for OSAP funding and exhaust all other avenues of financial assistance, for example, family support, student loan and/or student line of credit, before applying for the bursary.

The Hardship Bursary is awarded on a "needs" basis, and students are eligible to receive only ONE bursary during any academic year.

The Hardship Bursary application is to be completed online and then printed. Your signed and completed application can be dropped off to your OSAP office and you will be notified within two weeks by email to your SLC account of the decision.
