Career Services is pleased to offer SLC students events throughout the academic year which are designed to prepare you for future employment and provide opportunities to network with employers through job fairs, networking events, interview opportunities and more! 


10 Minute Resume Review

Every Tuesday and Thursday in September from 11am to 12pm, Career Services will be outside the Welcome Centre to provide quick resume reviews to help you get hired!  We write suggestions right on your resume and provide valuable tips and resources.  *Bring a copy of your most recent resume and a job posting (if applicable).

Job Fair Preparation Workshops

Tuesday, September 25 from 10:30am to 11:30am OR 2:30pm to 3:30pm in the Innovation Hub (Main Room).  If you have never attended a Job Fair, then this workshop is for you!  Learn all about job fair etiquette, how to approach employers and make the best impression to get hired.

Part-Time Job Fair

Thursday, September 27 from 10am to 2pm in the new Conference Centre.  Wear business casual attire, bring copies of your resume, and SLC student card. Part-time and seasonal job opportunities will be showcased.  Meet multiple employers looking to hire in Kingston.
