Services available at SLC for students includes the following:

  • Affordable birth control with a doctor’s prescription
  • Free condoms
  • Information about sexually transmitted infections (STI’s)
  • Sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Plan B (morning after pill)
  • Counselling about relationships and sexual decision-making

  • Drop-in clinics Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. No appointment is required.

Services

  • Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV counselling, and testing.
  • Treatment of common STIs.
  • Pregnancy testing and low cost emergency contraception (Plan B) for all women.
  • Birth control for women under 19 years of age, and for women who do not have access to a health care provider (e.g., family physician or student health services).
  • PAP testing for all women over the age of 21 who do not have a health care provider.
  • Sexual health information line that provides information about contraception, STIs and HIV, and access to sexual health services.
