Class, Campus and Group Reunions

If you are considering a reunion for your class or special group, there are a number of ways that the Alumni Office can help.

1. Notice or article in St. Lawrence Voyageur (magazine) or St. Lawrence Explorer (e-newsletter)

We will gladly publish the information on your event. Make sure your article includes the following types of information: program, year of graduation and campus; tentative date(s) and time(s) for the reunion; name(s) of the organizer(s), as well as contact information such as phone numbers, e-mail, and address; and lastly, an RSVP deadline. Please contact our office for submission deadlines and distribution dates.

2. Class mailing.

The alumni office will absorb the cost of one class mailing to all alumni for whom we have current addresses, as well as a broadcast email. For mailings, organizers should produce generic packages in sealed envelopes and forward them to the alumni office. We will affix address labels and send them out in the mail.

Please note that due to the Freedom of Information Act, we are unable to supply organizers with personal contact information. We can, however, let you know the names of your classmates who are on our current mailing list.

3. Advice and expertise.

Having facilitated a number of these types of events, our staff would be pleased to offer advice and expertise on how to make your event as successful as possible. Just contact us!

4. Promotional materials.

The alumni office has a very nice "St. Lawrence College Alumni" banner which we will loan out, upon request, for these types of events on a first-come, first-served basis. It makes a nice backdrop for group photos. We may also be able to provide a supply of St. Lawrence Voyageur magazines to have on hand as well.

In return, all we ask is that event organizers submit an article and some photos of the event for publication in the next issue of St. Lawrence Voyageur.
