Alumni Engagement Program
Every year hundreds of graduates stay connected to SLC as guest speakers, competition judges and workshop leaders. Alumni speakers and volunteers not only enlighten the next generation but to fortify the connection between a St. Lawrence College education and building a successful career after graduation. It is a great opportunity for the students and for yourself and the cherry on the top…cool swag given by the Alumni Office for the time you took to “give back”.
Homestay Opportunities
Serving as a host family for international students is a great way to give back to the college and your community. Students pay for room and board and have the opportunity to interact and engage with a Canadian family and the culture. It helps alleviate the burden of finding the right apartment in a strange city and offers the host families insight into a different culture. Opportunities vary based on number of students and their needs. If you are interested, we’d be happy to add you to our list of potential host families.
