Mission Statement

“The Alumni Relations office exists to maximize positive engagement with our alumni, through life-long, mutually beneficial relationships.”

Definitions of Alumni

Graduate Alumni are those individuals who have successfully completed and graduated from an approved diploma or certificate program (1, 2, or 3 years in duration). These individuals, who have paid alumni ancillary fees while a student, automatically become alumni and are eligible for all alumni benefits.

Associate Alumni include former students who have completed at least one course, a Statement of Achievement, or individuals who have worked at the College, served on boards or advisory committees, or have received honorary diplomas. These individuals are asked to self-identify, to the alumni office, their interest in being considered alumni, and upon doing so, will be eligible for the same recognition and privileges as graduate alumni.

Honorary Alumni are those individuals who are not graduates of the College, but who have been identified as having made a significant contribution to the College.

In addition to actual alumni, St. Lawrence welcomes and encourages "friends", such as spouses, family members, former staff, and others with any connection to the College to take part in all Branch and Chapter events and activities.
