Planned Giving (Gifts made through Wills or Bequests)

Some individuals choose to leave a lasting legacy through a planned gift. Planned giving may be made through wills or bequests. This type of gift is often used to create an endowed bursary in an individual's name, or for the purchase of classroom equipment. For larger gifts, naming opportunities exist for classrooms, wings, and buildings.

Leaving a bequest to St. Lawrence College is a thoughtful way to create an ongoing legacy for future generations. Planned gifts, regardless of their size, can assist the College in fulfilling its mission by meeting the education and training needs of students in our communities.

The endowment of named bursaries, awarded perpetually, is one example of how your consideration today can make a lasting difference for the students of tomorrow.

For more information on Planned Giving, or other ways to contribute to St. Lawrence, please contact the College’s Development Office. The College’s Director of Development will contact you personally to discuss your individual interests and wishes.
