The St. Lawrence College Foundation Annual Appeal

On behalf of the St. Lawrence College Foundation, we hope you will take a moment to consider supporting this year’s Annual Appeal.  Our focus continues to be raising funds for new endowed student bursaries and most importantly entrance bursaries.  These serve as an incentive for students to come to St. Lawrence and also contribute greatly to student recruitment, retention and ultimately the academic success of our students.
 
In the fall of 2005, the provincial government launched the new matching gift program, Ontario Trust for Student Support, which matches dollar for dollar any donations made towards endowed bursaries.  We have a unique opportunity over the next year to grow this endowment fund significantly and create a number of new awards which will be available indefinitely.
 
Last year’s Annual Appeal donations have produced tangible results and we need future donations to keep giving opportunities to the next generation!  Our cumulative endowed bursary fund has grown to $5 million.

As in previous years, your gift may be made “undirected” for use across the college, or may be directed to the campus of your choice.  All gifts made to the appeal are held “in trust” by our Foundation and are not included in college operating funds.  A charitable tax receipt will be issued for all gifts.
